Lead Electrician

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Electrician to oversee electrical projects across diverse settings, including industrial, commercial, and residental sites. In this pivotal role, you will be the lead electrician, ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes, and deliver top-quality electrical installations and maintenance. Your expertise will drive the success of complex electrical systems, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability on every project. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day electrical tasks on job sites (mixed residential/commercial) Install, troubleshoot and/or repair electrical systems and components (as assigned) Read and follow job instructions, wiring diagrams, and basic layout plans Diagnose electrical issues and complete repairs efficiently Ensure work complies with applicable safety standards and job requirements Maintain clean work areas and follow safe jobsite practices at all times Support the team by mentoring/assisting technicians or helpers when needed Use basic hand tools correctly and safely; keep tools organized and maintained Communicate job status, material needs, and issues to management Use CRM and technology based tools for schedules, worksite documentation and other uses per job. Requirements Minimum 5+ years of electrical experience, preferred 7+ years Residential experience strongly preferred (at least 5 years preferred) Working knowledge of electrical installation and troubleshooting Must have basic hand tools Reliable transportation and a clean driving record Strong work ethic, punctuality, and commitment to safety Ability to work independently and lead tasks on the job site Ability to use different technology per job requirements Preferred (Nice to Have) Experience acting as a lead/crew lead Familiarity with common residential wiring practices and service calls Experience with panel work, troubleshooting, and service upgrades (as applicable) Billing customers About Star Bright Electric Star Bright Electric is a trusted electrical service company serving Northeast Ohio.
