Job Summary
- Design and lead the regulatory & policy compliance and sales governance agenda with particular focus on financial advisory framework and all regulatory matters for Wealth Solutions Singapore.
- Drive compliance initiatives to align with fiduciary responsibilities, support fair dealing framework and best practices to achieve fair dealing outcomes and strong sales conduct cultures.
- Translate regulatory obligations, internal policies, conduct expectations and supervisory standards into clear, practical and sustainable business practices.
- Provide leadership across regulatory change, reporting, self-initiated thematic reviews, product and sales process governance, mystery shopping and stakeholder engagement, while reinforcing accountability and client-focused outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Regulatory Change and Transformation
- Lead and drive 1LOD analysis to interpret, assess and change implementation to comply with regulatory obligations and internal policies.
- Represent SG WSCOO in regulatory forums, change implementation, governance and process transformation initiatives.
- Drive impact assessment, stakeholder alignment, communication, training, go-live readiness and post-implementation review.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency and control transparency, and represent SG WSCOO, SG WRB and SCB Singapore in regulatory forums, regulator discussions and industry workgroups.
Regulatory Reviews and Assurance
- Maintain a forward-looking view of regulatory priorities and translate requirements into business actions, controls and governance routines.
- Lead and drive internal 1LOD thematic, monitoring reviews and commissioned assurance activities, including enhanced safeguards.
- Ensure remediation plans are timely, risk-based and able to withstand regulatory, audit and senior management scrutiny; track themes and lessons learned to strengthen controls and documentation.
- Responsible for collaborating with stakeholders such as Business Risks Management, Compliance, Legal, Client Experience functions to complete management action plans.
Policies, Process, Sales Conduct and Operational Risk
- Drive and solve complex policies and governance issues and translating requirements into sustainable sales conduct outcomes through practical processes and digital tools.
- Streamline processes to drive better compliance outcomes with improved controls.
- Strengthening controls, conduct standards and client outcomes through execution and continuous improvement.
- Convert findings into remediation, training, process enhancements and governance follow-up that improve sales culture, client communications and frontline adherence.
- Provide oversight on risk assessment controls on internal risk types as delegate process owner.
Leadership and Stakeholder Management
- Provide thought leadership, constructive challenge and advice to senior stakeholders to shape landscape of regulatory & policy interpretation, digital tools, sales process, conduct risk to deliver exceptional client experiences with regulatory & policy compliance.
- Influencing senior and cross-functional stakeholders, building alignment and developing team capability in a high-accountability environment.
- Build effective partnerships across Wealth Product, Compliance, Legal, Business Risk Management, Operational Risk, Sales Assurance, Audit, Business stakeholders and industry bodies.
Wealth Training Curriculum
- Set the sales conduct training strategy and curriculum to develop practical and effective program.
- Drive regulatory and policy compliance and embed a strong sales conduct culture
- Provide governance and oversight.
- Use data analytics and insights to shape training interventions
- Partner with key stakeholders.

Our Ideal Candidate
- 15+ years' experience in banking/financial services, preferably across Wealth Management, regulatory governance, product or sales governance, compliance, audit, operational risk, or policy/process application.
- Demonstrated track records in complex cross-functional implementation, reporting & submissions, assurance reviews and conduct governance.
- Familiarity with local/MAS regulations particularly in FAA and SFA.
- Experience with regulatory bodies or audit functions is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related field.
