Therapy Aide

5 days work week / Near Marymount MRT / Transport provided at MRT
Prior exp with therapy aide & able to communicate in local dialects is advantageous!
Our client is a leading Healthcare provider
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to infection control procedures.
- Assist therapists in assessing patients' status for suitability to start therapy sessions or continue with therapy sessions.
- Assist therapists in carrying out treatment plans either individually or in a group setting.
- Communicate relevant information regarding therapy sessions timely, e.g. vital signs, symptoms.
- Educate clients on the use of therapeutic aids or assistive devices as prescribed by therapists.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic interventions as instructed by therapists.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of therapy areas.
- Maintain inventories and equipment for the department.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Perform administrative duties.
- Perform therapy plans as instructed by therapists.
- Prepare patients, materials and equipment for therapy.
- Assist patients with personal care and hygiene needs as required.
- Maintain high standard of housekeeping and workplace organisation at all times.
- Undertake to keep oneself well informed of the updated industry guidelines and develop new skills that are necessary for the job.
- Any other duties as and when assigned.
Requirements:
- GCE 'N / O' Levels
- Certificate in Therapy Services / Support or NITEC in Community Care & Social Services preferred
- Preferably 1 – 2 years therapy aide experience in healthcare setting.
- Preferably bilingual and ability to communicate in local dialects.
Other Information:
Working Days/Hours: Mon to Fri (8am to 5pm)
Location: Near Marymount MRT (Transport provided at MRT)
Up to S$3K Basic+allowances+bonuses!
