Registered Nurse – Oncology Support | Venepuncture & Cannulation

Opportunity to gain further experience in oncology nursing and chemotherapy care.

Responsibilities: Support doctors and the clinic team in ensuring smooth daily oncology clinic operations.

Prepare patients for consultations, including venepuncture, blood collection and laboratory investigations.

Administer chemotherapy and other prescribed treatments according to clinical protocols and safety standards.

Perform IV cannulation and Port-a-Cath access/care where required.

Monitor patients during treatment and provide nursing care, education and emotional support.

Coordinate appointments, investigations, referrals and follow-up care.

Review and track laboratory/investigation results for timely patient follow-up.

Dispense medications and provide appropriate patient education as instructed by doctors.

Monitor medication and medical supply inventory and assist with stock management.

Maintain accurate nursing records and comply with infection control and regulatory requirements.

Provide financial counselling to patients and caregivers regarding treatment costs, Medisave and insurance matters.

Participate in after-hours patient support on a roster basis when required.

Support general clinic administration and other duties assigned by the Doctor or Nurse Manager.

Requirements: Registered Nurse with valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) registration , BCLS and AED certification.

Minimum 2–3 years of nursing experience ; oncology experience is an advantage.

Experience in venepuncture and cannulation is strongly preferred.

Competent in IV cannulation and Port-a-Cath access/care .

Comfortable working with oncology patients and administering treatments according to clinical protocols.

Strong patient-care, communication and interpersonal skills.
