Maintenance Technician – Industrial Equipment
Your tasks
- Carry out maintenance and repair work on industrial steel equipment.
- Inspect equipment to identify faults, breakdowns and potential mechanical issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and carry out necessary repairs.
- Monitor equipment performance and report recurring faults to the supervisor.
- Assist with equipment servicing, component replacement and maintenance activities.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised work area.
Requirements
- Relevant hands-on experience in maintenance of industrial equipment is required.
- Experience in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and equipment repair is preferred.
- Able to work independently and carry out physical maintenance tasks.
