Electrical Engineer (ACMV – LTA, Marine Shipboard/ System) – 5 Days
Your tasks
- Plan, coordinate and oversee Electrical / M&E / ELV project works from design through installation, testing and commissioning.
- Review electrical drawings, shop drawings, specifications and project requirements to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Carry out electrical engineering works including load calculations, transformer/MCC sizing, cable and distribution system design, protection coordination and material take-off.
- For ELV/structured cabling projects, coordinate installation of fibre optics, structured cabling, data and other ELV systems.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor installation quality, progress, manpower, materials and equipment.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, site coordination problems and installation clashes.
- Coordinate and oversee testing, commissioning and handover of electrical/M&E/ELV systems.
- Prepare technical submissions, method statements, progress reports, claims, as-built drawings and operation & maintenance documentation.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers on material procurement, technical requirements and project schedules.
- Participate in project, technical and progress meetings with clients and consultants.
- Ensure all works comply with project specifications, relevant codes, safety requirements and quality standards.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, M&E Engineering or related discipline.
- R elevant experience in Electrical / M&E / ELV / Structured Cabling / Data Centre projects has advantage
- Candidates from construction M&E, electrical contracting, ELV, fibre optics, structured cabling or data centre backgrounds are welcome.
