External Sales Representative – Technical Sales
Your tasks
Job Objective: We are looking for an External Sales Representative with an engineering background and experience in technical sales, oriented towards achieving commercial objectives, developing new business, and customer loyalty. You will be responsible for providing technical and commercial advice to clients, managing the product portfolio, and strengthening commercial relationships.
Main functions
- Provide technical and commercial advice to clients.
- Visit clients and manage the assigned product portfolio.
- Meet monthly and annual sales goals.
- Identify business opportunities and develop commercial relationships.
- Prepare quotations, select products, and process orders.
- Provide technical training to clients regarding products.
- Record and maintain updated commercial information in the CRM.
- Analyze the market and the competition.
- Guarantee customer satisfaction and adequately represent the company.
- Prepare reports and commercial management indicators.
Requirements
Academic background: Professional in Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related careers. License or professional card, as applicable.
Required experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales.
Knowledge and requirements
- Management of CRM and Excel.
- Knowledge of product portfolios and business development.
- Skills in sales and customer service.
- Intermediate English level B1/B2.
- B1 driving license.
- C1 license optional.
- Availability to travel nationally and internationally.

Working conditions Workplace: La Estrella, Antioquia. Schedule: Monday to Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Workday: 42 hours per week. Salary: $2,457,862 + commissions. Contract type: Direct hiring with the company.
