SAP Data Migration Lead

Position overview
The SAP Data Migration Lead will take full ownership of the end-to-end data migration lifecycle from legacy Oracle EBS schemas into SAP S/4HANA. This role requires technical depth in database extraction and data cleansing, as well as functional understanding to map legacy structures into SAP master and transactional data objects.
Key responsibilities
Data strategy & governance: Define data migration strategy, profiling, cleansing, field mapping, and validation protocols across multiple business entities.
Extraction & cleansing: Work directly with internal Oracle DBAs and developers to extract, profile, and clean legacy Oracle EBS data.
Load automation: Lead data loading cycles (Mock Loads, Cutover Loads) using tools such as SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC/LTMOM), SAP BODS, or Advanced Data Migration (ADM).
Reconciliation & quality: Establish automated reconciliation reports to verify completeness and accuracy of migrated financial, SCM, and HR data.
Vendor coordination: Coordinate with the system integrator’s data team to validate target schemas and sign off on cutover readiness.
Qualifications & requirements
Experience: Minimum 8+ years in data migration roles, with direct hands-on experience migrating data from Oracle EBS (R12) to SAP S/4HANA.
Technical skills: Strong SQL knowledge, familiarity with Oracle EBS underlying database tables/modules (FIN, SCM, HCM), and deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA data structures.
Tools: Proficiency in SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP BODS, or equivalent data transformation toolsets.
Soft skills: Highly analytical, methodical, and capable of working with cross-functional business teams to drive data ownership and sign-offs.
