Software Engineer (m/f/d) (Backend Developer)

We are looking for talented Backend, Frontend, and Full-Stack Software Developers (m/f/d) to join our Staffbase team and support us in building a great AI-native Employee Experience Platform. We are looking for empathetic and motivated team players who are driven by growth and personal responsibility. As part of our tech stack, we use, among others, React.js, Javascript, Typescript, Kotlin, Go, Java, MongoDB, Terraform, Docker, Selenium, and Cypress.

Your Tasks

• Responsible for the improvement and development of our web-based clients, including native applications, as well as our RESTful Web Services
• Working in a cross-functional Scrum team and producing high-quality and tested code
• Providing and receiving valuable feedback as part of our code review process, continuously learning, and sharing knowledge with colleagues
• Openness to feedback and taking on responsibility are essential in this regard
• Take responsibility for the topics that are important to you - from the features you develop, to the quality of our work, to the environment in which we work
• You work iteratively, drive code forward, ensure a good CI/CD pipeline, and automate wherever possible

Your Profile

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Backend: Experience with Kotlin, Go, Java, MongoDB; Terraform, Docker, REST would be a plus
• Frontend: Experience with React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Additionally, you have a passion for Test Driven Development
• Preferably, you have already worked in an agile environment
• You value quality, clean code, and enjoy learning new things
• Good English skills
• You are independent and can work both autonomously and in a team
• Understanding and appreciation for diversity and inclusion in the workplace
