Job Description
Are you ready for the technology of tomorrow? Then join our team at the Sulzbach-Rosenberg location and take on the following exciting tasks:
- Strategic responsibility for a defined product group (e.g., controllers, sensors, optics, batteries, charging systems, software and licenses, visualization, etc.) for the entire Robotics Division
- Management of the complete Source-to-Contract process including selection, evaluation, and further development of suppliers
- Active Supplier Relationship Management to sustainably increase supplier performance, quality, and responsiveness
- Analysis of existing requirements, supplier structure, and procurement processes to derive potential for cost optimization and quality improvements
- Close cooperation with product development regarding technical requirements for components and suppliers as well as access to critical technologies
- Close cooperation with the other strategic buyers (m/f/d) of the Robotics Division to harmonize and further develop the procurement strategy
- Coordination of procurement activities for Mobile Robotics based on demand planning in cooperation with the team in Sulzbach-Rosenberg
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in the procurement of electronic or electromechanical components
- Proven experience in dealing with suppliers as well as strong negotiation skills
- High problem-solving and implementation competence, demonstrable through practical examples
- Team-oriented way of working and enjoyment of collaborating across locations, languages, and cultures
- Very good English skills, ideally supplemented by French skills
- Confident handling of ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Way of working characterized by: analysis, coordination, implementation
