COST ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Conduct site show rounds to assess and understand project requirements for accurate planning
• Prepare detailed job costings and estimations to develop project quotations and tender submissions
• Analyze and monitor project cost estimates, expenditures, and forecasts to inform management decisions
• Utilize AutoCAD and BIM modeling to interpret construction drawings and ascertain project specifications
• Report project costings and estimations to the Project Manager and management for review and approval
• Collaborate with office staff to update data, records, and drawings to maintain IMS compliance
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with staff to support project progress and compliance requirements
• Perform additional related duties as assigned by management to support project and office operations

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or degree in engineering or minimum 4 years of relevant ACMV experience if he does not have the necessary paper qualifications.
• Ability to work independently and cooperate as a team member
• Monitors and analyzes project cost estimates, expenditures and forecasts.
• Requires technical knowledge of the construction work involved, autocad and BIM modelling
• Ability to use cost-estimating methods.
• To attend site show rounds and other meetings as and when required.
• To work closely with all staff and IMS compliance purposes.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
