*About the Position*

St George Academy is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and highly motivated *High School Mathematics Teacher* to join our academic team. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop a strong understanding of mathematics while strengthening their problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.

*Key Responsibilities*

• Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the Ontario Curriculum.
• Teach high school mathematics concepts clearly and effectively.
• Prepare assignments, assessments, projects, and examinations.
• Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Use differentiated instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Incorporate appropriate technology and innovative teaching strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and student support.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, and school administration.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional-development activities, and school events.

*Qualifications*

• Bachelor?s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Education, or a related field.
• must be fluent in English
• Strong knowledge of high school mathematics.
• Previous high school teaching experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication, classroom-management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to create an engaging and student-centred learning environment.
• Commitment to supporting students? academic success and personal growth.
