Job Summary:

The Industrial Nurse is responsible for providing nursingsupport, emergency medical response, occupational health coordination, andadministrative services for Advanced Material Engineering (AME) employees atthe Bukit Timah (BT) site. The role supports employee health, safety, andwell-being through first aid services, medical surveillance coordination,health programme administration, personal protective equipment management,medical inventory control, and liaison with external healthcare providers.

Job Description:

  1. Emergency Medical Response
  • Serve as theprimary medical responder for workplace injuries, illnesses, and medicalemergencies at the BT site.
  • Provide firstaid treatment and nursing care for injured or unwell employees.
  • Assess medicalcases and coordinate referrals to external medical providers, clinics, orhospitals where required.
  • Supportemergency preparedness activities, drills, and incident response.
  • Maintain thereadiness of first aid facilities, emergency medical equipment, and emergencyresponse supplies.
  1. Occupational Health Administration
  • Coordinatestatutory and non-statutory medical examinations for AME employees.
  • Liaise withoccupational health service providers and medical institutions.
  • Maintainemployee medical records and health surveillance documentation.
  • Monitor employeemedical examination schedules and follow-up requirements.
  • Supportworkplace health initiatives and employee wellness programmes.
  1. Health Programme Coordination
  • Coordinatehealth screening programmes, wellness initiatives, and employee healthcareactivities.
  • Arrange healthtalks, health awareness campaigns, and wellness events.
  • Liaise withhealthcare professionals and service providers to support programme delivery.
  • Supportcommunication and logistics planning for health-related activities.
  1. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Management
  • Manage thecentralized PPE station and inventory for AME.
  • Coordinate theissuance and replenishment of PPE for designated high-value AME visitors.
  • Administer thePrescriptive Safety Glasses Programme, including coordination of eyeexaminations, procurement, issuance, and maintenance of records.
  • Monitor PPEstock levels and ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
  • Maintaininventory records and support PPE-related procurement activities.
  1. Medical Supplies and Inventory Management
  • Maintain theinventory and readiness of first aid supplies, emergency response consumables,medical equipment, and healthcare supplies.
  • Manage stocklevels of approved common medicines, including medication for flu symptoms andheadaches, and other approved healthcare consumables.
  • Conduct routinestock checks and monitor expiry dates to ensure availability and compliance.
  • Coordinatereplenishment and procurement of medical and healthcare-related items.
  • Ensure properstorage, housekeeping, and accountability of medical inventories.
  1. Procurement and Administrative Support
  • Prepare andprocess Purchase Requisitions (PRs) through SAP for medical services, medicalsupplies, PPE, and related requirements.
  • Supportprocurement activities, quotation sourcing, purchasing documentation, andinvoice processing.
  • Maintainrecords, reports, correspondence, and documentation related to nursing andoccupational health activities.
  • Supportbudgeting and expenditure tracking for healthcare and welfare-relatedpurchases.
  • Provideadministrative support for company employee health, welfare, and medicalprogrammes.

Job Requirments:

  • Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
  • Valid Practising Certificate.
  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing, or an equivalent nursing qualification recognized by the Singapore Nursing Board.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of nursing experience.
  • Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, occupational health, healthcare, military, or clinicenvironment would be advantageous.
  • Emergency response and first aid management.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Inventory and asset management.
  • Procurement administration and ability to learn SAP Purchase Requisition processes.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Stakeholder and service-provider coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling medical information.
