Pizza Restaurant Service Worker

Job Summary St. Andrews Slice House is seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Pizza Restaurant Service Worker to support daily restaurant operations and provide a positive experience for guests. The ideal candidate will assist with customer service, order preparation, food service, dining area upkeep, and general restaurant tasks while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hospitality. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service. Take customer orders accurately and assist with order entry and payment processing. Prepare, package, and serve pizza and other menu items according to restaurant standards. Ensure orders are accurate, complete, and served promptly. Assist customers with menu questions and general service requests. Communicate special requests and order details to kitchen team members. Maintain clean, organized, and presentable dining and service areas. Clear and reset tables as needed during service. Restock utensils, napkins, condiments, packaging, beverages, and other supplies. Assist with food preparation, portioning, and basic kitchen tasks as needed. Support takeout and pickup orders during busy service periods. Clean and sanitize work surfaces, equipment, and service stations. Assist with opening, closing, and routine restaurant cleanup duties. Report customer concerns, equipment issues, or supply shortages to management. Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Qualifications Previous pizza shop, restaurant, food-service, or customer-service experience preferred. Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and order accuracy. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities during busy periods. Comfortable using POS systems and handling customer transactions. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Willingness to learn restaurant procedures and service standards. Ability to stand and move for extended periods during shifts. Good problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
