Maintenance & Service Technician

Working on one of the largest automated logistical systems in Europe At Bol. in Waalwijk, an ultra-modern fulfilment center operates where up to 40,000 packages are processed every hour. SSI SCHÄFER has realized the complete intralogistics installation and provides its maintenance.

With more than 2,000 shuttles, 30 kilometers of conveyors, and advanced control systems, this is a working environment where technology is central. As a Maintenance Technician, you ensure that the installation remains maximally available and that malfunctions are resolved quickly. In the role of maintenance and service technician, you will work in a modern environment at one of the largest E-commerce Fulfillment Centers. You will work closely with more than 40 colleagues to ensure the installation functions safely and optimally.

What will you do?

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, transport systems, shuttles, sensors, and weighing systems;
• Locating, analyzing, and resolving mechanical and electrotechnical malfunctions;

• Replacing, adjusting, and testing technical components;
• Identifying opportunities for improvement to prevent malfunctions and optimize processes;

• Recording analyses, activities, and improvements in reports.

What you bring

• You have knowledge of mechanics, electrotechnics, or mechatronics and have at least an mbo level 3;
• You have experience as a maintenance, service, or troubleshooting technician, as an operator, or similar;

• You have a good command of the English language;
• You are willing to work in 5-shift rotations;

• You work safely, accurately, and have a customer-oriented attitude.
