Software Developer

Tasks

• Optimization and expansion of existing customer software systems and processes
• Resolution of incidents on customer software systems according to ITIL processes
• Conception, estimation, development, and implementation of new software functions as well as ongoing technical documentation
• Technical management of Software Change Requests (organization/development/implementation)
• Ongoing independent further training in the specialist area as well as independent conducting of training for internal and external contact persons
• Contact person for selected customers
• Organization and execution of customer workshops

Qualifications

• Knowledge of software development and the programming language C/C++
• Several years of relevant professional experience in software development
• Good Unix knowledge
• Completed (higher) education in the field of IT or technology is an advantage
• Understanding of relational databases (Oracle)
• Good English skills
• Communicative personality with enjoyment of customer contact
• International willingness to travel (approx. 20% of annual working time)
• Teamwork skills, sense of responsibility, and eloquence

Possible starting date: Immediately

For this position, we offer a monthly minimum gross starting salary of €4,000.00 on a full-time basis (38.5 hours per week). The actual salary will be calculated based on previous service, qualification, professional experience, and the collective agreement.
