Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D architectural models for a large-scale hospital construction project.
- Prepare and update BIM models based on architectural drawings, design information and construction requirements.
- Produce architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections and details from BIM models.
- Coordinate architectural models with structural, M&E and other building services models.
- Assist in identifying and resolving design and model coordination issues.
- Incorporate design revisions, site changes and approved modifications into BIM models.
- Prepare BIM drawings and documentation required for construction and coordination purposes.
- Assist in reviewing architectural drawings and technical information for consistency with the BIM model.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and liaise with architects, consultants, engineers, subcontractors and project team members.
- Assist with clash detection and coordination of architectural interfaces with other disciplines.
- Maintain proper version control and ensure BIM models and drawings are updated and issued in accordance with project requirements.
- Assist in preparing BIM-related reports, schedules, views and other project documentation.
- Ensure models comply with project BIM standards, modelling requirements and relevant project specifications.
- Support the project team in resolving BIM and architectural coordination matters.
- Perform other BIM and modelling-related duties as assigned by the BIM Manager / Architectural Manager / Project Manager.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Building Information Modelling (BIM), Building Studies or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in architectural modelling or BIM within the construction industry.
- Experience in hospital, healthcare, institutional or large-scale building projects will be an advantage.
- Proficient in Revit and other relevant BIM software.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
- Good understanding of architectural drawings, construction details and building components.
- Familiarity with BIM coordination and clash detection processes.
- Basic understanding of coordination between architectural, structural and M&E disciplines.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work with complex 3D models.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
