SSAB - Warehouse & Consignment Administrator

Your qualifications We believe you are a skilled and experienced administrator and that you are fluent in English, both spoken and written. You have a technical education as a foundation. If you have practical experience in processing our products (e.g., shape cutting, slitting, or pickling), it will be considered a merit.

Great importance is placed on your personal qualities. We are looking for a person who is structured and has the drive to act independently and with high social competence. As an administrator for warehouse and consignment, you will assist coordinators and contract managers for our warehouses and consignments. In your work, you will have a network and close collaboration both internally at SSAB and externally with suppliers. Location: Borlänge.

About the position To meet customer requirements regarding lead times, product range, and delivery reliability, SSAB Europe purchases warehousing and consignment services from external suppliers throughout Europe. Internally, you will work closely with, among others, Sales, System support, Produktion, and other sections within Supply Chain.

The work includes, among others:

• Assisting staff at our sales offices with questions and administration regarding warehouse and consignment services
• Handling complaints
• Managing blocked material
• Checking and verifying supplier invoices
• Assisting with inventory
• Updating processes and work instructions
• Delivery and production reporting
• Managing suppliers in Ariba
• Participating in SCM projects regarding warehouse structures as needed

The tasks require initiative, creativity, and independent work.

The position is a temporary assignment and runs from 2019-01-01 – 2019-09-30.
