PROJECT ENGINEER

Job Description & Requirements • Interprets specifications, drawings, plans and checks all steelwork shop drawings done by the structural detailer if in accordance to client’s construction drawing prior to submission • Organizes and directs the delivery of construction materials and establishing detailed programs and schedule of site activities

• Check the construction drawings if feasible for erection on site and work closely with the structural detailer for any proposal if needed

• Records and monitors design changes and assess their cost impact for the project’s contract sum and coordinate with the Contract Department • Liaises with the client’s Technical Manager for all engineering and technical matters focusing structural discipline • Responsible for coordinating with the Project Site Engineer for any site related technical issues

• Monitors the fabrication progress and coordinate closely to Production Department to meet the required schedule and report it to the client
