About the company

The client A national public body that runs a free, public-facing legal information service. Legal professionals use it every day, and anyone can access it. The amount of content it takes in keeps growing, and the engineering work behind it is growing with it.

You'll join a digital supplier that has worked on the service for more than four years, alongside the in-house team. The supplier already has a lead developer, a front-end developer, a .NET developer and a part-time delivery manager in place.

  • Help the platform scale as courts send in more judgments every week

  • The confidence to take a problem, shape it and ship it without hand-holding
  • Live-service habits: tests, code review, CI/CD

  • MarkLogic
  • XML and structured data (XPath, XQuery, XSLT)
