Job Description Develop, design, test, deploy, maintain and improve software. As a Lead Fullstack Engineer (m/f/x) at SQUER, we offer you primarily two things: freedom and a strong team. This allows us to ensure that you can develop and contribute optimally using your strengths.

Your Tasks Being at SQUER means above all, to evolve, to be a Thought Leader and to actively help shape things as a Team Player & friend of open communication. You actively participate in the entire development process and are significantly involved in technology decisions. You are responsible for or support the new and further development of software solutions for and with our customers. You work in agile teams on diverse customer projects and spread the SQUER culture within them with the goal of continuous improvement. You do not act as a lone wolf, but rather as a Sparring Partner and Coach for your colleagues.

Your Qualifications You possess solid knowledge in frontend and backend development and bring a relevant academic education. Experience with established frontend (Angular, React, Vue.js) as well as backend frameworks (Spring Boot, Express). You master one or more programming languages in the environment of Java (Java, Kotlin, Scala, Clojure), or Javascript (Javascript, Typescript). Basic understanding of software architectures, cloud-native development, and containerization (Docker or Kubernetes). You have experience with agile working methods and feel passion and motivation to support software teams in all their disciplines. You already actively use AI-supported tools (e.g., code assistants, LLM-based workflows) to increase your productivity and efficiency - or you would like to start doing so. Further education and development are important to you and you enjoy passing on your acquired knowledge. You possess very good written and spoken English skills to communicate as effectively as possible with your colleagues and customers.

Your Benefits Why you will love working at SQUER: Responsibility & Initiative: At SQUER, we rely on the personal responsibility of our team. In our flat hierarchies, your ideas and actions count more than titles. Take responsibility, help shape things, and grow with us. Learning & Growing: Use an annual training budget of € 5,000 for your personal and professional development and benefit from our internal Leadership Academy. Be part of our active tech community through meetups, hackathons, and training. Up to 40 hours/year of additional time off is available for your further education. Exciting Challenges & Real Impact: Work on diverse projects where your contribution truly makes a difference – for our customers and for SQUER. Flexibility for Peak Performance: Benefit from hybrid working models, flexible working hours, workations within the EU, and additional vacation days – so you can deliver your best performance. Individual Equipment for Your Success: Choose the hardware that best fits your working style and use our selection of AI tools and licenses (Anthropic, OpenAI, or others). We Value You: In addition to numerous benefits, we offer a competitive annual salary to honor your extraordinary commitment. Part of a Strong Team Culture: Collaboration and connections are at our core. Through open communication, shared successes, and inspiring team events – such as our annual SQUER-Offsite – we create a culture where everyone feels valued and enjoys growing. A Workplace Full of Extras: Work in a centrally located office with a spacious terrace and BBQ area, enjoy a free lunch in the office, a MyClubs sports membership, and choose between a free Wiener Linien ticket or a subsidy for the Klimaticket. Furthermore, you benefit from free massages, referral bonuses, corporate benefits, and JobRad. Annual employee gifts and a monthly team breakfast round off your work experience.

We believe in transparent and fair pay. For this role, an annual gross salary between € 75,000 and € 95,000 is intended – the exact classification depends on the seniority level, which we will determine together during the process.
