Senior QA Automation Engineer (ServiceNow ATF)

For our client, we are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with very good knowledge of Automated Test Framework (ATF) and Customer Service Management (CSM). The person in this position will be responsible for planning, executing, and automating testing activities, as well as ensuring high software quality at every stage of the development lifecycle. The role also includes supporting the team in terms of test automation and Quality Engineering best practices.

Daily tasks

• Creating, maintaining, and continuously improving the QA test library in cooperation with developers and platform teams.
• Creating and maintaining tests in Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Supporting and training the team in the field of test automation and Quality Engineering best practices.
• Defining and implementing scalable testing strategies for ServiceNow CSM/SPM solutions.
• Close cooperation with stakeholders, Business Owners, Product Owners, and development teams to understand business processes and requirements.
• Translating business and technical requirements into comprehensive test concepts, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Improving the quality, stability, and usability of the ServiceNow platform.
• Conducting ATF (Automated Test Framework) test reviews and preparing recommendations for their optimization.
• Reviewing requirements and preparing documentation related to quality assurance (QA).
• Supporting defect management, root cause analysis, and regression testing.
• Ensuring adequate test coverage for new functionalities, changes, and subsequent platform releases.
• Active participation in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Close cooperation with developers to integrate quality assurance activities with the software development process.
• Participating in initiatives related to the continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and automation practices.
• Supporting the release and deployment validation process.
• Monitoring test execution results and preparing clear reports regarding quality and risks.

Requirements

Very good knowledge of Automated Test Framework (ATF). Rich experience working with ITSM and CSM modules. Practical experience in configuring, customizing, and administering the ServiceNow platform, with a particular focus on implementing secure authentication mechanisms and scalable architecture. Ability to support and train the team in test automation and Quality Engineering best practices. Experience in designing and maintaining organized test libraries and reusable test assets. Good knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA best practices. Experience in both manual and automated testing. Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Very good communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams. Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
