Senior Azure Administrator / Tech Lead

Your tasks

The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Microsoft Azure environments and on-premises infrastructure, with an emphasis on automation, security, and optimization. The scope of responsibilities also includes implementing and maintaining third-party applications and serving as a Tech Lead, including setting technical standards and supporting the team.

• Designing, developing, and maintaining Microsoft Azure environments and on-premises infrastructure.
• Infrastructure automation using Azure Bicep, PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
• Creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Administration of Microsoft Entra ID, M365, networking, Windows/Linux systems, and permissions.
• Ensuring security, monitoring, and high availability of environments.
• Implementing and maintaining third-party applications and integrating them with existing infrastructure.
• Diagnosing incidents, performing root cause analysis, and optimizing environments.
• Coordinating deployments, collaborating with vendors and technical teams.
• Creating documentation, defining standards, and mentoring the team in the Tech Lead role.

Requirements

Our requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT administration or cloud engineering, including Microsoft Azure environments.
• Very good knowledge of Azure and experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining production environments.
• Practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Bicep) and Azure DevOps (CI/CD).
• Knowledge of Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Container Apps, Azure SQL, Storage, Application Gateway, and WAF.
• Experience in configuring Azure networking (VNet, NSG, VPN, DNS, Private Endpoints, routing) and integration with on-premises.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, IAM, and cloud security principles.
• Experience in administering and securing Windows and Linux systems.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability, e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, or Zabbix.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining third-party applications and container solutions.
• Ability to automate tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Ability to diagnose complex technical problems and conduct root cause analysis (RCA).
• Independence in making technical decisions, defining standards, and optimizing infrastructure.
• Very good command of English (B2/C1).

• Microsoft certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400, SC-300) or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in a Tech Lead or Infrastructure Lead role.
• Experience in designing Azure solution architecture.
• Knowledge of Azure Databricks and data processing solutions.
• Experience collaborating with external vendors.
• Knowledge of ITIL and incident and change management processes.
• Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Experience in Azure cost optimization (FinOps).
