AWS Integration & Solutions Engineer

We are looking for a Cloud Integration & Solutions Engineer for an international project in an enterprise environment.

The person in this position will act as a technical partner for Product Delivery Leads and Solution Architects, supporting them in assessing the feasibility of new technological solutions and integrations.

The project involves working with Cloud/SaaS solutions, including Workday, ServiceNow, Cornerstone, and their integration with the internal cloud environment. We are looking for a strongly hands-on person who does not limit themselves to architecture analysis, but is able to independently test APIs, analyze payloads, write a PoC or serverless component, and verify the solution in a practical environment.

Daily tasks

• Collaboration with Product Delivery Leads and Solution Architects on the technical assessment of new functionalities.
• Analysis of integration feasibility, impact on the existing ecosystem, latency, and API rate limits.
• Creating Proof of Concept (PoC) and lightweight integration solutions.
• Building serverless components, e.g., AWS Lambda / API Gateway.
• Integration of SaaS platforms with internal cloud environments.
• Analysis of technical documentation from vendors, APIs, SDKs, endpoints, payloads, and authorization models.
• Conducting technical discussions with vendors and assessing their integration capabilities.
• Collaboration with Cybersecurity and Risk teams during Security Risk Assessments.
• Creating and analyzing data-flow mappings.
• Verification of data schemas and payload correctness.
• Analysis of existing solutions and identifying opportunities for optimization and elimination of unnecessary middleware.
• Preparing technical recommendations and risk assessments for proposed solutions.

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Integration Engineering, or Senior Technical Systems Analysis. Experience working with enterprise SaaS platforms and their integration. Very good knowledge of AWS, especially: AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, EventBridge, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager.

Very good knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, webhooks. Experience with JSON/XML formats and schema validation. Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML. Ability to program/script in Python, Node.js, or TypeScript. Experience in creating PoC, integrations, and serverless solutions. Practical knowledge of Security Risk Assessments, data-flow modelling, and technical risk reviews. Very good command of the English language. AWS certification will be an additional asset.
