Solutions Engineer

The responsibilities for this position are:

• You are responsible for the full implementation of new warehouse activities and work for this purpose in collaboration with Operations, Engineering, Systems, Customs, Key Account Management, and the customer.
• You coordinate the teams responsible for, among other things, WMS configurations, building layout, and training, and ensure that all activities proceed according to plan.
• You monitor the scope, budget, and timing of projects to achieve a successful startup and the predefined KPIs and profitability.
• You manage RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes and develop logistical solutions that align with the customer's needs.
• You analyze logistical data, design warehouse processes and layouts, perform price calculations, and support the Business Development team during negotiations with new customers.

The required qualifications are:

• You have at least five years of experience within logistics or warehouse operations and can rely on a proven track record.
• You possess strong analytical skills and have experience with cost calculations, ROI calculations, productivity analyses, and process design.
• You are customer-oriented, possess strong people management skills, and know how to motivate and lead teams.
• You are a hands-on problem solver, enjoy collaborating with others, and can efficiently handle short deadlines.
• You have excellent command of English, knowledge of Dutch and French is a plus, and you are willing to travel internationally for periods of up to a maximum of three months.
