Logistics Specialist

The responsibilities for this position are:

• You are responsible for ensuring an efficient flow of goods via maritime transport activities.
• You coordinate and supervise all aspects of maritime transport activities, including vessel planning, freight handling, and port logistics.
• You maintain contact with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to ensure timely and cost-effective freight movement.
• You are responsible for accurate registration of shipments, documentation, and tracking information.
• You resolve problems or deviations in a timely manner.
• You maintain customer contacts.

The required qualifications are:

• You preferably hold an economically oriented Bachelor/Master.
• You have initial experience within the maritime sector, preferably as a freight forwarder.
• You have a good knowledge of English and French. Dutch is a plus.
• You can take the necessary initiatives but at the same time know how to set the right priorities.
• You have strong adaptability and problem-solving skills.
• You contribute to active communication and demonstrate a strong team spirit.
• You can work in a service-oriented manner.
