CLEANING SUPERVISOR

Roles & Responsibilities We are looking for a responsible, hands-on and experienced CLEANING Supervisor to support the Senior Supervisor in overseeing daily cleaning and operational activities at assigned work sites. Supervisory & Operational Duties

• Assist the Senior Supervisor in overseeing daily operations and ensuring all assigned work is completed according to the required schedule and standard.
• Lead, supervise and coordinate a team of cleaners/workers at the assigned work site.
• Conduct daily briefings and allocate duties and work areas to workers according to operational requirements.
• Monitor workers’ attendance, punctuality, work performance and completion of assigned duties.
• Ensure sufficient manpower is deployed to each work area and assist with manpower arrangements when there are absences or operational changes.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to new and existing workers on proper work procedures, cleaning methods and use of equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure cleanliness and service standards are maintained.
• Attend to operational issues, feedback and urgent cleaning requirements and report significant matters to the Supervisor or Operations Manager.
• Prepare and maintain work schedules, duty rosters, job assignments and other operational records as required.
• Submit daily or periodic reports to the Supervisor, Operations Manager or other senior management when required.

Hands-On Cleaning Duties

• Cleaning and washing toilets and washroom facilities.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and scrubbing floors.
• High-pressure jetting and washing of designated areas.
• Scraping and removing dirt, stains and other residues from surfaces.
• Cleaning and washing mirrors, glass panels and other fixtures.
• Emptying rubbish bins and ensuring proper disposal of waste.
• Maintaining cleanliness of common areas, work areas and other assigned locations.
• Carrying out periodic or ad-hoc cleaning work as instructed.
• Assisting workers to complete assigned duties within the required time schedule.

Machinery & Equipment

• Conduct routine checks on cleaning machinery, equipment and tools before and after use.
• Ensure cleaning machinery and equipment are used correctly and safely.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs where appropriate.
• Report faulty or damaged machinery and equipment to the Operations Manager or Supervisor for repair or replacement.
• Ensure machinery, equipment and cleaning tools are properly cleaned and stored after use.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and consumables and report when replenishment is required.

Dishwashing / Dish Area Duties

• Assist in setting up dishwashing stations, including dishwashing machines, sinks and related equipment.
• Ensure dishwashing areas are properly organized and kept free from unnecessary clutter.
• Ensure dishes, utensils and equipment are handled and cleaned according to operational and hygiene requirements.
• Monitor the cleanliness and condition of the dishwashing area throughout the shift.
• Assist with dishwashing duties when additional manpower support is required.

Work Requirements

• Must be willing to work on rotating shifts or night shifts when required.
• Must be able to work on weekends and public holidays according to the work schedule.
• Must be willing to work at different assigned locations according to operational requirements.
• Must be contactable by mobile phone for operational matters, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• Must be physically fit and able to perform hands-on cleaning and operational duties.
• Must be able to lead and work closely with a team of workers.
• Must be able to follow work schedules, instructions, safety procedures and company requirements.
• Must be responsible, reliable and able to handle operational issues independently when the Supervisor is unavailable.
• Perform any other cleaning and operational duties as assigned by the Supervisor, Operations Manager or Management.
