Education:
Other trades certificate or diploma.
Tasks:
- Consult with family of deceased regarding funeral and related services.
- Schedule work of other staff.
- Preserve, sanitize and prepare human remains for funeral services.
- Plan and schedule funeral services.
- Co-ordinate burials and cremations.
- Complete legal documentation.
- Maintain financial records.
- Arrange for transfer of remains from place of death to funeral home.
- Manage funeral home operations.
Supervision:
1 to 2 people.
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses :
- Funeral Director Licence.
- Driver's License.
Security and safety:
- Criminal record check.
- Driver's validity licence check.

Valid driver's licence.
