Per Diem Certified Medication Aide (CMA) – Assisted Living

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team on a per diem basis. This flexible position is ideal for someone who is available to provide additional coverage as needed, including weekends, holidays, and various shifts. As a CMA, you will play an important role in supporting the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents. Responsibilities include safely and accurately administering medications, maintaining proper documentation, observing and reporting changes in residents’ conditions, and providing compassionate, resident-centered support. Responsibilities: Administer medications accurately and safely according to physician orders and facility procedures

Observe residents for medication reactions or changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staff

Maintain accurate medication administration records

Ensure proper storage, handling, and documentation of medications

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members

Follow infection control, HIPAA, and safety protocols at all times

Support the community's mission of providing exceptional care and enhancing residents' quality of life.

Qualifications: Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in the State of New Jersey

Previous long-term care, assisted living, or skilled nursing experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach to care.
