Network Operations Lead
Job Purpose
The Network Operations Lead is responsible for ensuring the reliable, safe, and efficient operation of the battery swapping network across all stations. The role oversees station performance, battery availability, uptime management, field operations, preventive maintenance, inventory control, and service quality. The Network Operations Lead will coordinate with technology, maintenance, logistics, and customer support teams to maximize network utilization and deliver a seamless battery swapping experience.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Network Operations Management
Manage day-to-day operations of all battery swap stations within the assigned region Ensure station uptime and battery availability meet defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Monitor network performance through dashboards and operational analytics. Coordinate station openings, relocations, and network expansion activities. Analyze operational performance trends and network utilization metrics. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Battery Asset Management
Monitor battery inventory levels across the network Ensure optimum battery distribution to maintain service availability. Track battery utilization, charging cycles, and health indicators. Coordinate battery rotation and balancing across stations.
Field Operations Leadership
Lead and manage field operations teams, technicians, and station operators. Conduct regular field audits to ensure operational compliance. Establish workforce schedules and resource allocation plans.
Maintenance & Reliability
Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance programs are executed effectively. Monitor charger, cabinet, network, and station equipment performance. Coordinate with technical teams to resolve station outages and faults. Maintain network uptime targets and reduce Mean Time to Repair (MTTR). Lead root cause investigations and corrective action implementation.
Operational Excellence & Safety & Compliance
Define and track operational KPIs. Develop continuous improvement initiatives to improve customer experience and asset utilization. Standardize processes across all locations. Implement best practices for safety, quality, and operational efficience. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company policies. Conduct safety inspections and operational risk assessments. Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, IT Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field with 5-8Yrs of experience
