Social Media Manager

£40,000 - £45,000 | Permanent | Hybrid (3 days in office) | ASAP

We're looking for a Social Media Manager to join an exciting agency team and take ownership of social content, community and strategy across a range of brilliant clients.

This is a hands-on, social-first role for someone who can spot a cultural moment, turn it into an idea and bring it to life - from concepting and shooting through to editing, publishing, community management and reporting.

What you'll be doing

• Creating, shooting and editing social-first content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and X
• Developing platform-specific content calendars aligned to client objectives
• Creating reactive, trend-led content at pace
• Managing communities and engaging audiences in an authentic, on-brand way
• Developing social strategies and campaigns alongside Creative, PR and Client Services teams
• Using social listening and cultural insights to identify trends, opportunities and conversations
• Keeping ahead of emerging platforms, formats, trends and audience behaviours
• Monitoring performance, sentiment and engagement and turning data into actionable insights
• Presenting social ideas, content and performance to clients
• Supporting scopes, timings and budgets across social projects
• Identifying opportunities to grow and elevate clients' social presence

What we're looking for

• 4+ years' agency experience working across social media
• Strong experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram and other major platforms
• A hands-on creator who is confident scripting, filming and editing
• Strong understanding of platform trends, native formats and algorithms
• Excellent writing, storytelling and communication skills
• Naturally culturally curious and always aware of what's happening online
• Comfortable working quickly and reacting to trends in real time
• Confident using analytics and turning performance data into insights
• Able to balance big-picture creative thinking with hands-on execution
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple projects
• Collaborative and confident working across Creative, Social, PR and Client Services
• Proactive, commercially minded and not afraid to challenge or improve an idea
• A genuine passion for social, culture and creating content that people actually want to engage with
