The Ideal Tutor Will Have

• Strong Maths subject knowledge
• Experience supporting learners with SEND and/or SEMH needs
• The ability to engage learners who have experienced prolonged absence from education
• A patient, flexible and nurturing approach
• At least 1 year of UK tutoring, teaching or educational support experience
• Excellent communication and rapport-building skills

• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
• Right to work in the UK
• Relevant teaching, tutoring or educational qualifications
• Reliable and professional approach

Maths Tutor (SEMH/SEND) - Chester-le-Street, Durham Maths Tutor - Year 11 Learner | Chester-le-Street, Durham | £30-£33 per Hour We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Maths Tutor to support a Year 11 learner in the Chester-le-Street (DH2) area of Durham. This learner has missed a significant amount of education and requires a tutor who can build confidence, re-engage them with learning, and provide structured Maths support in a positive and encouraging way.
