Your tasks

About the Role You will work in a welcoming primary school on the Wirral, supporting the class teacher, leading small group interventions and helping pupils grow in confidence across the curriculum.

• Lead small group and one to one interventions in reading, writing and maths
• Support the class teacher with planning and delivering lessons
• Cover the class under the teacher's direction when needed
• Support pupils with SEND and EAL
• Track progress and feed back to the teacher

Requirements

This role suits experienced support staff, such as

• Holders of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Experienced Teaching Assistants in primary schools
• HLTAs looking for flexible work
• Phonics trained support staff (desirable)
• You must be:
• Skilled in delivering interventions
• Proactive and happy to use your initiative
• Organised with good attention to detail
• Supportive of pupils and staff
