Cloud Solution Architect (Public Sector)

Responsibilities:

• Design scalable and secure public and hybrid cloud solutions for government, education and healthcare customers.
• Develop customized cloud architectures using Huawei Cloud, Huawei Cloud Stack, databases, containers and related full-stack services.
• Engage customers and senior stakeholders to understand business requirements, present technical solutions and address scalability, cost, security and performance challenges.
• Design highly available infrastructure and database architectures for high-concurrency and data-intensive applications.
• Lead technical presentations, solution proposals and Proof-of-Concept activities.
• Coordinate with R&D, sales, delivery and partner teams to support end-to-end solution implementation.
• Research cloud-native, microservices, serverless, AI and big data technologies to improve solution capabilities.
• To collaborate and communicate directly with Chinese speaking officers, stakeholders, counterparts, and customers in China HQ team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related IT field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud architecture, technical pre-sales or solution delivery within the ICT or internet industry.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in cloud software development and software project management.
• Strong knowledge of public and hybrid cloud, Kubernetes, DevOps, networking and cloud security.
• Hands-on experience with Huawei Cloud, Huawei Cloud Stack or comparable cloud platforms, as well as cloud databases such as GaussDB, MySQL or MongoDB.
• Proficiency in at least two relevant programming or scripting languages, such as Java, Python, Go, PHP, C++, or SQL.
• Experience in AI agent development, including agent frameworks and long-context memory solutions.
• Experience delivering AI, big data or cloud transformation projects involving high-concurrency architectures.
• Strong stakeholder-management, technical-presentation and business communication skills.
• This role may require business travel to other countries depending on business needs.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to ensure effective communication with the Chinese-speaking stakeholders, including head office, business counterparts, and customers based in China.
