Job Overview: SPARK Bali is an independent learning community based in Sayan, Ubud, Bali, offering an international-oriented education through the Pearson Edexcel curriculum.   • Teaching and Lesson Planning: Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the relevant curriculum, syllabus, and learning objectives, adapting teaching strategies to accommodate diverse student abilities and learning needs.
  • Assessment and Student Progress: Design and mark formative and summative assessments, monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations where applicable.
  • Classroom Management and Student Support: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment that promotes academic achievement, critical thinking, student well-being, and independent learning.
  • Academic Administration and Communication: Maintain accurate academic records, manage learning materials and homework through Google Classroom in accordance with school guidelines, and communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress and learning needs.
  • Collaboration and Professional Development: Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership, participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school activities, follow school policies and academic procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement in teaching and learning.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A minimum of Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject area. A teaching qualification or professional certification is an advantage.
  • A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in an international school is mandatory. Experience teaching Pearson Edexcel, IGCSE, or International A Level curricula is highly preferred.
  • Good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively and deliver lessons in English.
  • Strong classroom management, lesson planning, assessment, and student engagement skills, with the ability to accommodate diverse learning needs and abilities.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, adaptability, initiative, and a commitment to student-centered learning, continuous professional development, and collaborative teamwork.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work constructively with students, parents, colleagues, and school leadership.
  • Willingness to follow school policies, academic guidelines, safeguarding procedures, and administrative requirements.
  • Proficient in using digital teaching tools and educational platforms, including Google Classroom, to organize learning materials, assign homework, and communicate assessment information.
