Job Description – Branch Manager (Beauty Salon)
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall day-to-day operations of the beauty salon and ensure smooth and efficient branch operations.
- Lead, supervise, coach and motivate Beauty Consultants, Therapists and Customer Service staff.
- Drive the branch to achieve monthly sales targets.
- Monitor individual and team sales performance and implement appropriate action plans to improve results.
- Conduct professional consultations with customers and recommend suitable beauty treatments, packages and products according to their needs.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat visits, package renewals and customer retention.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally and ensure timely service recovery.
- Manage staff scheduling, attendance, punctuality, leave arrangements and manpower deployment.
- Conduct regular staff coaching and training on sales techniques, product knowledge, treatments and customer service standards.
- Ensure treatments and services are delivered according to the Company's SOPs and service standards.
- Maintain high standards of outlet cleanliness, hygiene, grooming and overall presentation.
- Monitor stock levels, product usage and inventory and minimise unnecessary wastage.
- Ensure accurate handling of appointments, customer records, packages, payments and POS transactions.
- Implement Company promotions, campaigns and sales initiatives at branch level.
- Work closely with Management and other departments to achieve the Company's business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies, workplace safety requirements and applicable regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the beauty, slimming, spa, wellness or aesthetic industry, preferably with supervisory or managerial experience.
- Proven track record in achievement of sales targets.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills with the ability to coach and motivate a service team.
- Good knowledge of beauty treatments, skincare products and salon operations.
- Strong consultation, selling, negotiation and closing skills.
- Customer-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to handle customer complaints and operational issues professionally.
- Results-driven, responsible and able to work independently in a target-oriented environment.
- Good organisational and administrative skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Willing to work retail hours, weekends and public holidays.
