dump truck driver

*Education:* High School is an asset. Class 1 Driver's Licence and Air Brake Endorsement required.

*Experience:* Only apply if you have at least 3 year experience on dump truck and pony. Wage based on experience.

*Job Duties:*

• Operate tandem dump truck or truck with pony or transfer trailer to deliver materials, such as dirt, sand, and gravel mainly on local routes.
• Pull levers or turns crank to tilt body and dump contents.
• Clean truck boxes with shovel if needed
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle such as condition of equipment, and loading and unloading of dump truck
• Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness.
• Maintain Log book for each trip.
• Break Adjustments.

*Yard Location:* 192 St and 80 Ave Surrey. Only apply if you live locally.

*Other:* Basic English is required. Punjabi is an asset.
