About the Role Do you enjoy practical, hands-on work and take pride in delivering excellent customer service? We're looking for a Network & Customer Service Technician to help maintain and operate our water distribution network, ensuring customers continue to receive a safe and reliable water supply. This is a varied role combining field-based operational work with customer interaction, problem-solving, and emergency response activities. You'll play a key role in maintaining network assets, supporting repairs, responding to incidents, and helping us deliver great service to our customers. What You'll Be Doing Carrying out maintenance and repair work on water network assets.
Supporting planned and reactive operational activities across the distribution network.
Responding to customer enquiries and taking ownership of issues through to resolution.
Helping prevent and manage supply interruptions and operational incidents.
Undertaking leak detection, network flushing, meter replacements and valve maintenance.
Working closely with colleagues, contractors and partner organisations to deliver operational excellence.
Completing risk assessments and maintaining accurate operational records.
Following health, safety, environmental and quality procedures at all times.
What We're Looking For Essential Proven experience delivering excellent customer service.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
Calm and resilient approach when working under pressure.
Flexible attitude and willingness to respond to operational incidents.
Full UK Driving Licence.
