Internal Account Manager
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Account Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced customer service, sales support, or account management professional who enjoys building strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service, and identifying opportunities to grow customer accounts. As an Account Manager , you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, acting as a key point of contact and ensuring clients receive a seamless experience from initial enquiry through to completion. Working closely with internal departments, you will coordinate customer requirements, provide regular updates, and support the delivery of high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers. Manage customer enquiries via telephone, email, and online systems. Provide regular updates on orders, projects, and service delivery. Identify opportunities to promote additional services and maximise account growth. Support customers with the use of online customer platforms. Coordinate workflows and liaise with internal teams to ensure customer deadlines are met. Prepare and issue accurate quotations and associated documentation. Review customer information and documentation in line with company procedures. Work collaboratively with operational, logistics, technical, and commercial teams. Assist with general administration and customer support activities as required. Deliver an outstanding customer experience at every stage of the customer journey.
Skills & Experience Essential Previous experience within Account Management, Customer Service, Sales Support, Internal Sales, or Administrative roles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively. Commercially aware with a strong customer-focused approach. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment. Desirable Knowledge of quality management systems or ISO-related processes. Experience using CRM or customer management systems.
