Physical and Health Education Teacher
Responsibilities:
Core Teaching and Instruction:
Lesson planning: Design safe, structured physical education curricula matching school standards. Skill development: Teach fundamental motor skills like running and jumping alongside sport-specific techniques. Health education: Instruct students on nutrition, personal hygiene, and the long-term benefits of exercise.
Supervision and Safety:
Class management: Oversee practical indoor and outdoor activities while minimizing injury risks. Inclusion: Adapt games and physical tasks so students of all physical abilities can participate safely. Environment maintenance: Keep sports equipment, fields, and gym spaces organized and hazard-free.
Coaching and Extracurriculars:
Team training: Coach school athletics and prepare students for interscholastic competitions. Event organization: Run sports days, intramural matches, and fitness clubs.
Assessment and Communication:
Progress tracking: Evaluate physical fitness improvements and grade practical or theoretical work. Parent engagement: Report student development during parent-teacher conferences and school meetings.
Requirements:
Minimum qualification of NCE. No experince/ less than 1 year of previous experience in a similar role.
Remuneration: NGN 70,000
