Multipurpose Industrial Agent (M/F)

We are now seeking a senior Global FP&A Manager for a qualified interim assignment in Göteborg. The role is suitable for you who have solid experience in Financial Planning & Analysis at a group or global level and who are accustomed to independently driving budget, forecast, and reporting processes in complex international organizations.

This is not primarily a traditional Financial Controller or Business Controller role. We are looking for you who have owned FP&A processes end-to-end, consolidated multiple companies and currencies, and are confident in challenging senior Finance Leads and presenting financial results to management and the board.

About the assignment

As Global FP&A Manager, you will report to the Group FP&A Director and receive overall responsibility for the global FP&A cycle across multiple companies, regions, and currencies.

You need to be able to quickly familiarize yourself with the organization's processes and take full ownership of budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, analysis, and management reporting.

The role combines strategic and operational work. You are expected to both be able to build and quality-assure financial models yourself and simultaneously act as a senior partner to regional Finance Leads, Function Heads, and group management.

Tasks

• Own and drive the budget and forecast process end-to-end
• Responsible for consolidated global P&L
• Analyze actuals against budget, forecast, and previous year
• Produce clear variance and driver analyses
• Consolidate and quality-assure financial input from regions and companies
• Responsible for monthly management reporting
• Prepare supporting material and presentations for management, Executive Committee, and Board
• Develop business cases and scenario analyses
• Conduct cost-base reviews
• Work closely with and challenge regional Finance Leads and Function Heads
• Standardize templates, definitions, and mapping
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and automation within FP&A
• Automate at least one manual FP&A process
• Ensure clear documentation and structured handover

Mandatory requirements

We are looking for you who have:

• At least 4 years of concrete experience in FP&A, preferably at Group or Global level
• Independently driven at least one complete budget or forecast cycle
• Experience of multi-entity consolidation
• Experience of multi-currency consolidation
• Very strong skills in Excel
• Solid experience in financial modeling
• Experience of planning tools such as Anaplan, OneStream, SAP BPC, Board, or equivalent
• Experience of larger ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent
• Good understanding of IFRS
• Experience of presenting, explaining, and defending financial results before senior management
• Very good English in speech and writing
• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with a new organization and deliver with limited onboarding

• Experience from other large industrial or international operations
• Experience from a joint venture environment
• Experience from carve-out
• Experience from organizations under transformation
• ACCA, CIMA, or CPA certification
• MBA
• Experience of Power BI
• Experience of SQL
• Previous experience of interim assignments
