Transport Planner
You at the helm of the planning. We provide the award-winning fleet.
Puzzling with time windows. Communicating with drivers. Putting out fires before they break out. If that sounds attractive, then definitely read on. We are looking for a Transport Planner who plans the daily movements of both our own trucks and charters. And that for meat, livestock, and animal feed transport — tight, sharp, and with an eye for detail.
Your challenge
- You daily plan the trips of own vehicles and charters, with attention to load factor, time windows, and driving and rest times — your TMS system is your co-pilot in this.
- Drivers and loading services: you are the pivot that ensures the planning is correct, from the first to the last trip.
- Direct contact with customers, always with an eye on top service.
- Track-and-trace, administration, follow-up — nothing escapes your radar.
Some of your characteristics:
A go-getter with a sense of responsibility, a smooth talker, and a hands-on mentality. You are flexible when necessary, work independently, but are at the same time a true team player.
- Bachelor in Logistics, or equivalent through experience.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, ...).
- Geographically knowledgeable in the Benelux, France, and Germany.
- Customer-friendly and hard to rattle.
- Practical knowledge of French and English.
- TMS and ERP experience (Ortec, Webfleet, CSB) is a must.
- Knowledge of driving and rest times.
Personal competencies (soft skills):
- Customer orientation
- Planning and organizing
