Your tasks
The Group's Industrial Direction has the mission to define, industrialize, and promote common methods, practices, tools, and standards to enable Sopra Steria teams to deliver their projects efficiently, in a controlled and sustainable manner. The Group DI is the pivot of industrialization, innovation, and delivery transformation. It consists of about a hundred people mainly in France, Spain, Poland, and India.
The DI is notably in charge of managing the portfolio of industrial tools for delivery. The Group's growth, the continuous evolution of products, and the adoption of AI have made this portfolio complex and its adoption heterogeneous.
In 2027, the DI is implementing a new organization to better manage, structure, and add value to the tools portfolio, by combining two complementary dimensions:
- Portfolio Management, to structure the vision, priorities, governance, and communication of the portfolio;
- Delivery Management, to organize and monitor the operational implementation of the tools and associated services.
Reporting to the Group Industrial Direction, you will work in direct contact with the people responsible for the Portfolio and its Delivery and will be involved in both the reflections and their concrete implementation.
As a PMO Transformation & Tooling Portfolio, you will intervene on three axes:
Build the repository and the reference documentation site of the Portfolio
- You will contribute to structuring and maintaining information relating to tools, initiatives, decisions, responsibilities, and roadmaps.
- You will participate in the definition of standards to maintain clear, consistent, and exploitable information.
- You will enrich the site generation chain.
Technologies implemented
- html site generated by a gitlab CI/CD chain from markdown sources (Hugo, MkDocs, Material Design, svg, mermaid...);
- management of dynamic portfolio data in sharepoint lists and generation of markdown content by python/jinja2 scripts.
Implement the governance of the Tooling Portfolio With the Tooling Portfolio Manager and the Tooling Delivery Manager, you will contribute to:
- preparing and organizing steering meetings (Change Advisory Boards - CAB);
- monitoring decisions, actions, and deadlines;
- making the roadmap and the progress of initiatives legible;
- contributing to the planning and monitoring of Portfolio activities;
- preparing dashboards, summaries, and presentations for the DI and Group entities.
Automate and improve steering tools
- identifying tasks that can be simplified or automated;
- contributing to the exploitation and transformation of Portfolio data.
Requirements
This internship will particularly suit those who enjoy both structuring an organization and building the tools that allow it to function.
You are a student in an engineering school, business/management school, or equivalent university training, and are looking for a 4 to 6-month internship.
Structured and rigorous, you are able to organize and synthesize information. You enjoy working in a team and are curious about discovering and understanding both business challenges and the tools that support them. Autonomous and proactive, you know how to propose improvements rather than simply applying an existing process.
You are proficient in English (B2/C1 level).
A technical appetite is also a real asset: data manipulation, documentation-as-code, automation, python, Web technologies. However, prior expertise is not indispensable.
What we offer
