Your future working environment Within our Competence Center in Sophia-Antipolis, you will join a dynamic agency with more than 150 employees.

Your tasks

You will join a team specialized in SysOps and infrastructure activities, working on varied technical environments with high stakes in availability, performance, and security.

Accompanied by your tutor and team members, you will participate in a true engineering project and progressively discover the different facets of the SysOps Engineer profession: infrastructure, automation, virtualization, Cloud, monitoring, security, and operations.

The objective of your internship is to allow you to develop a transverse vision of IT infrastructures, while progressively gaining autonomy in a stimulating professional environment.

Your role and missions Your 6-month internship is structured around two complementary dimensions: the execution of a technical project and a progressive immersion in the activities of a SysOps team within a production center.

During the first 3 to 4 months, you will be primarily dedicated to an engineering project, defined with your tutor around a concrete technical issue.

In this context

  • You analyze the issue and associated needs;
  • You study the different technical solutions and propose an adapted response;
  • You design, implement, and test the chosen solution;
  • You document your work and present the results to the team.

Depending on the internship topic, you will work notably on issues related to Linux, automation and industrialization with Ansible, Kubernetes and OpenShift, monitoring and observability with Prometheus and Grafana, Cloud, or even infrastructure security.

In parallel, you will progressively discover the operational activities of a production center and participate in the team's daily life:

  • You participate in the maintenance of operational conditions for infrastructures and platforms;
  • You contribute to RUN activities, monitoring, and incident management;
  • You participate in the administration and evolution of environments, mainly under Linux;
  • You contribute to the automation and industrialization of operations, notably with Ansible;
  • You participate in the operation and evolution of Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms;
  • You contribute to the monitoring and observability of environments with Prometheus and Grafana;
  • You participate in the operation of Cloud, hybrid, and sovereign environments, notably OVHcloud.

This dual approach allows you to lead an end-to-end engineering project, while progressively developing your knowledge of the operational challenges and production activities of the SysOps Engineer profession.

Requirements

Do you not know all these technologies yet? It is not a prerequisite. We are primarily looking for your appetite for systems, your technical curiosity, and your desire to build skills in the technologies that make up our teams' daily work.

Your profile You are currently in your final year of engineering school or in a Master 2 in computer science and are looking for a final year internship that allows you to develop your technical skills.

You have initial knowledge of systems and infrastructures and are particularly interested in one or more of the following areas: Linux, Cloud, virtualization, automation, networks, scripting, DevOps/SysOps, monitoring, and observability.

We are not looking for prior expertise in a particular technology. However:

  • You are curious and have a real appetite for technical environments;
  • You like to understand, analyze, and solve problems;
  • You know how to research, test, and propose solutions;
  • You are interested in automation and continuous improvement;
  • You enjoy teamwork, while demonstrating autonomy and learning capacity.

A first experience, whether academic, personal, or professional, in systems, infrastructure, Cloud, scripting, automation, or networks is a plus.

You have a professional level of English.

What we offer

Benefits of the internship Beyond your technical project, this internship will allow you to develop your skills in systems, infrastructure, automation, and Cloud, while concretely discovering the challenges of a production environment.

Accompanied by an experienced team, you will progressively gain autonomy, develop your analysis and problem-solving skills, and benefit from a complete experience of the SysOps Engineer profession.

This experience will constitute a first step toward careers such as SysOps, Infrastructure, Cloud Ops, or DevOps.

What we offer you

  • A teleworking agreement to work remotely up to 2 days per week depending on your missions.
  • An attractive benefits package: meal vouchers, access to social & cultural activity subsidies.
  • Hundreds of training courses to develop your skills and evolve within the Group.
  • Self-paced training platforms to support your personal development.
  • The possibility to get involved with our foundation or our partner "Vendredi".
  • Very many permanent contract (CDI) opportunities may await you at the end of the internship.
