Job Description
Within the Group Management of the Vertical Financial Services, you will join the Offers & Innovation team to make quantum a lever for growth: use cases for banks and insurance (offensive), protection against the quantum threat (defensive, post-quantum cryptography), in connection with our partners and our client learning expeditions.
A Group team that coordinates all countries and all Sopra Steria entities to build innovative offers (IA, payments, digital assets, quantum…). You will work with the cross-country quantum community and the Group's cross-vertical communities.
YOUR MISSIONS
- Explore quantum use cases in financial services (optimization, pricing, risk, actuarial, fraud…) and their algorithmics: monitoring, comparison of approaches, simple prototypes;
- Strengthen other innovation topics of the team (IA, payments, digital assets) by bringing the quantum angle and technical expertise;
- Support quantum marketing: content (articles, posts, white papers) and events (learning expeditions, workshops);
- Support client presentations: summaries, materials, popularization of the technology for decision-makers;
- Facilitate the link with the cross-country quantum community and the cross-vertical communities.
INTERNSHIP CONTRIBUTIONS
A high-impact internship: your work feeds the offers, content, and client meetings, within a European quantum network.
Qualifications
- Student in the final year of engineering school or Master 2 (quantum computing, physics, applied mathematics, computer science);
- Solid foundations in quantum algorithmics and Python; practice of a framework (Qiskit, PennyLane…) is a plus;
- Ability to popularize and write clearly; fluent English; proficiency in PowerPoint;
- Curiosity, autonomy, team spirit; interest in finance and insurance.
