Your tasks

(Industrialization & AI-assisted Software Development) To strengthen our Technical Direction, we are looking for a Software Delivery Architect who will contribute to increasing the effectiveness and profitability of projects through the industrialization of development processes and the adoption of Generative AI throughout the entire software lifecycle. This role will play a key part in designing delivery processes, providing technical leadership to development teams, and implementing DevSecOps pipelines and AI-assisted development solutions, working closely with Project Managers, architects, and project teams.

Main responsibilities

• Design team organization and the production process
• Define the team's operational structure and workflows throughout the entire development, integration, testing, and release cycle.
• Document processes, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring consistency with company and client standards.
• Define processes for managing changes, versions, and releases in complex environments.
• Lead the adoption and integration of Generative AI
• Promote the use of Generative AI for coding, code review, documentation, and automatic test creation.
• Introduce AI-assisted development models and workflows to improve productivity and quality.
• Train and support the team in the daily adoption of generative AI technologies using the methods and tools provided by the corporate.
• Implement production process automation
• Implement/maintain DevSecOps and MLOps pipelines.
• Implement/maintain AI solutions for the team's use (custom agents, MAIA use cases, …)
• Leverage and integrate AI tools into DevOps toolchains for CI/CD, code quality, monitoring, and incident analysis.
• Supervise the software lifecycle
• Monitor planning, progress, and quality of activities in all phases of the software lifecycle.
• Ensure product quality through metrics, test automation, and continuous integration/delivery processes.
• Automatically detect KPIs to evaluate the impact of Generative AI on time, cost, and quality.
• Support governance, compliance, and operational support activities
• Verify adherence to technical, security, and process standards.
• Promptly identify and resolve organizational, technical, or relational criticalities.
• Support the project team in adopting industrialized processes, AI, and generally in change management.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement
• Promote a culture oriented towards quality, efficiency, and innovation.
• Conduct periodic process reviews and retrospectives to identify optimization areas.
• Foster continuous feedback and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

YOUR PROFILE

• At least 4 years of experience in a Technical Leader or Team Leader role in complex projects, with coordination responsibilities for teams of 5–10 resources and direct reporting to the Project Manager.
• Proven experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines in medium-to-long term cloud-native projects (at least 12 months in duration).
• Solid experience in enterprise code development and in the use of Generative AI models and tools for assisted generation of code and technical documentation.

YOUR SKILLS

• In-depth knowledge of the main software lifecycle models (waterfall, agile, iterative, incremental, tdd, bdd, etc.) and related management tools such as Jira / Confluence
• Mastery of DevSecOps tools such as GitLab, GitLab CI/CD, SonarQube, Checkmarx or equivalents and industrialized code management practices (branching, CI/CD pipelines, release management, etc.)
• Software development environments that integrate code generation components through AI models such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, etc.
• Knowledge of project management practices and related economic and technical KPIs
• Knowledge of architectural models (single-page-application, micro-services, monoliths, etc.), design patterns, and at least a couple of programming languages among Java, .NET, Javascript/Typescript, and Python
• The candidate must also have proven communication skills and team spirit, a strong sense of results, and a proactive orientation toward problem solving.

For this position, a RAL (Gross Annual Salary) between € 55,000 and € 65,000 is expected. The place of work is ASSAGO with the possibility, depending on the activity performed, to join the smart working agreement as provided by our corporate policy.
