Your tasks

Within these teams, you will, for example, have the opportunity to engage in missions involving the launch of new telecom products, taking into account regulatory impacts, redesigning operational models following Lean principles, performance management, and the transformation of the French market related to the acquisition of SFR.

Main Missions

• Carry out operational transformation consulting missions for major telecom operators (fixed, mobile, B2B/B2C), in a context of profound sector mutation,
• Support our clients in redefining their business model in the face of the virtualization of network functions (NFV, SDN, cloud-native), covering the impacts on processes, organization, and OSS/BSS tools.
• Diagnose network production and service delivery processes to identify optimization and automation levers.
• Better exploit operators' data assets, notably via AI, for example to move closer to the implementation of autonomous networks.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, integrating the different expertises of the Sopra Steria group, and ensure the consistency and quality of deliverables.
• Ensure the follow-up of our missions in collaboration with our clients, at the operational and business management level, particularly through the animation of operational and steering committees.
• Contribute to business development through the drafting of proposals and the follow-up of opportunities in the sector.
• Supervise multidisciplinary project teams (2 to 6 consultants) and ensure the quality follow-up of deliverables.

Requirements

• Master's degree (engineering school, business school, or university) with a specialization in telecoms or information systems.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in consulting or operations at an operator, with exposure to transformation challenges related to the virtualization of network functions (NFV/SDN, 5G SA/IoT/Satellite, Edge Computing, Open RAN and Cloud Native, Autonomous Network)
• Good understanding of the organizational and processual impacts of the transition to a "cloud-native" operator model: evolution of roles, automation of operations, DevOps/NetOps integration.
• Mastery of sectoral frameworks (ITIL, TOGAF, TMForum) and the ability to adapt them to new virtualized infrastructure contexts.
• Excellent communication skills, strong leadership, and the ability to unite people in complex and transforming environments.
• Fluent English
