Your future working environment The SAP Excellence Center consists of more than 600 experts gathered within a single collective in Lille, Paris, Lyon, and Toulouse, supporting the largest French companies in their SAP solution integration projects.

Our clients use SAP to digitalize and optimize their key processes: sales and distribution (SD), inventory management (MM), financial accounting (FI), controlling (CO), etc.

Your tasks

In this context, we are recruiting motivated individuals to become SAP Functional Consultants as part of a professional career change project, for example.

Depending on your background and professional project, you may specialize in one of the following areas:

• Finance and Accounting (SAP FI)
• Finance and Public Sector Management
• Finance and Private Sector Management
• Inbound Flows / Supply Chain (SAP MM, PP, QM)
• Outbound Flows / Sales and Distribution (SAP SD)

Your role and missions As an SAP Consultant, you act as the link between business teams and technical teams to ensure that SAP solutions perfectly meet user needs.

Accompanied by our experts, you will progressively work on the following missions:

• Collect and analyze user needs;
• Understand and model our clients' business processes;
• Participate in writing functional specifications;
• Configure SAP solutions;
• Perform functional tests and support user acceptance testing;
• Participate in deployments and go-lives;
• Support change management for users;
• Facilitate business workshops;
• Train users and provide functional support;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and tools.

Requirements

You hold a Master's degree (Bac+5) or equivalent training in one of the following fields:

• Finance;
• Accounting;
• Controlling;
• Purchasing;
• Logistics;
• Supply Chain;
• Organizational Management.

You wish to leverage your business skills in an innovative technological environment and commit to a career change towards SAP consulting.

You are recognized for

You have been registered with France Travail for at least one month, have a professional level of English, and are mobile for potential regional travel related to projects.

What we offer

By joining Sopra Steria, you have the chance to be well-supported in developing your skills in the SAP Functional Consultant profession and to be hired directly on a permanent contract (CDI) afterwards.

Indeed, because a successful career change requires solid support, you will benefit from an Individual Operational Readiness for Employment (POEI).

This training, funded by France Twail, allows you to acquire the fundamentals of the profession and the SAP ecosystem while preparing your integration into our teams.

Lasting 450 hours, this remote training will begin in December 2026. It is built around 8 practical projects and personalized support by an SAP expert mentor.

You will develop strong skills in SAP S/4HANA, the reference ERP solution used by the largest companies worldwide.

Other

At the end of this training, you will join our Toulouse teams on a CDI (permanent contract) to continue your skill development alongside experienced Consultants.
