You will join Sopra Steria within the Digital Platform Services entity, with a dynamic team in a stimulating environment.

Your tasks

Depending on the missions entrusted to you, you will evolve within Sopra Steria internal teams in Managed Services type assignments, or you will be directly integrated into client teams. You will be supported by a dynamic team that will involve you actively in the project as a whole.

Your role and missions As a Linux Systems Engineer, your role is to satisfy production and client project requests across various technologies.

You maintain and administer client infrastructures

• You manage the availability of client infrastructures
• You administer Linux components in virtualized or on-premise environments
• You are in charge of support for Linux environments and performing routine operations and maintenance

You document and ensure follow-up

• You are in charge of writing and maintaining operational documentation
• You generate activity and capacity reports for Linux system infrastructures

You resolve incidents and contribute to projects

• You handle and follow up on incident resolution across all client infrastructures
• You are involved in Linux infrastructure evolution projects
• Possibility to participate in on-call rotations

Requirements

Your profile A graduate with a Master's degree (Bac+5) from an Engineering school or equivalent, you have at least 3 years of professional experience in a production or Managed Services environment.

Your English level is operational.

You are autonomous, rigorous, and pragmatic You also have a good sense of service and client relations
