Your tasks

You will join Aeroline as a Simulation Model Specialist. Sopra Steria's Aeroline vertical brings together nearly 1,100 employees in France, within teams distributed across the entire territory. It supports major players in aeronautics, space, and air traffic on strategic projects: modernization of critical systems, data and IA, cloud, cybersecurity, embedded systems, and sustainable aviation. The teams work on complex and innovative programs, at the heart of performance, safety, and sovereignty issues.

Your role and missions

• Prepare laboratory (LAB) and Flight Tests campaigns for avionics systems, in coordination with the design office and all relevant stakeholders.
• Apply and follow the testing, verification & validation (V&V) and End-to-end integration strategy defined for integrated avion systems.
• Provide a clear vision of test progress and share LAB and Flight test results with the design office and the relevant programs.
• Ensure regular monitoring of suppliers to guarantee the consistency of their V&V activities with the defined test strategy.
• Process and examine system anomalies, contributing to their classification, prioritization, and resolution tracking.
• Respond to support requests from MAP, FAL, BE ATAXX, and Airlines, providing reliable and operational technical analysis.
• Identify opportunities for test automation to improve product maturity and reduce laboratory test lead times.
• Propose new ways of working or new technologies to optimize testing resources and the efficiency of test campaigns.

Requirements

• You have 5 years of experience in subjects related to avionics systems, embedded systems integration, or the validation and verification of complex systems in aeronautics.
• You have solid knowledge of integrated avion systems, ATAXX, and avion architecture, as well as system design and the V-model.
• You master Airbus processes and documentation, and have a global understanding of the following areas: propulsion/performance, aerodynamics/flight mechanics, structure/stress, cabin/cargo, systems installation, airworthiness, aeronautical standards, human factors, aeronautical maintenance, Flight OPS, Safety methodology, and Certification.
• You possess appreciated additional knowledge in hydraulics, mechanics, electricity, networks and telecommunications, data security, data analysis and data science, as well as IT knowledge related to aircraft operation and operations.
• You have very good communication skills, know how to effectively manage various stakeholders (design offices, suppliers, operations, airlines) and adapt your discourse to your interlocutors.
• You are recognized for your rigor, your analytical spirit, your ability to propose improvements, and your ability to work in a team in a demanding technical environment.
• You have a negotiation level in English, allowing you to interact orally and in writing with international interlocutors (suppliers, partners, project teams).
• You have a desire to continuously learn, share your knowledge, and contribute to high-impact projects in the aeronautical sector.
